OpenCode is a powerful terminal-based AI coding agent. What it lacks is a web UI, mobile access, session management across repos, recurring scheduled jobs, and a way to send one prompt to five models simultaneously. OpenCode Manager adds all of that. 893 GitHub stars, MIT, TypeScript, Bun + Hono + React, Docker.
What OpenCode Manager is
OpenCode Manager (opencodemanager.app) is a self-hosted web application managing OpenCode 2.x sessions. Bun + Hono backend, React + Vite frontend, SQLite, Docker Compose. MIT. Requires OpenCode 2.0.15+ (bundled). Install: curl -fsSL https://opencodemanager.app/install | sh. Opens at localhost:5003.
Multi-run
Send one prompt to up to 5 models simultaneously, each in its own fresh worktree. Then fuse the best results into a single new worktree. Turns sequential model comparison into a parallel one.
Schedules
Recurring agent jobs on cron or interval in fresh, kept, or shared worktrees. Reusable prompt templates, MCP servers attached per schedule, full run history with linked sessions. Automated code review, dependency updates, test runs.
Chat and sessions
Real-time SSE streaming. Slash commands, @file mentions, Plan and Build modes, Mermaid diagram rendering, session goals and permission modes per session.
Repositories and git
Multi-repo management with local discovery. SSH auth for private repos. Git worktrees for parallel work without branch conflicts. Unified diffs, branch and commit management from the browser.
Terminal, files, MCP servers
Full repo terminal in the browser. Directory browser with syntax highlighting, create/rename/delete, ZIP download. Add, configure, and authenticate local or remote MCP servers from the UI with OAuth support.
Agent Sandboxing
Optional microVM isolation for agent shell commands. The agent runs inside a sandboxed environment that cannot affect the host outside the repository.
Mobile and PWA
Mobile-first responsive UI installable as a PWA on Android, iOS, and desktop. Push notifications when the agent finishes, errors, asks a question, or completes a scheduled run. Approve permission requests from your phone.
The ocm CLI
The ocm CLI attaches your local OpenCode TUI to a repo on the Manager. Auto-attaches in a local clone. Adds /ocm-move, /ocm, /ocm-goal, /ocm-multirun slash commands. Sync with ocm push and ocm pull.
37 themes
Manager default plus 36 bundled OpenCode palettes with matching syntax highlighting. Light, dark, and system modes.
Who it is for
Good fit: OpenCode users wanting browser and phone access; developers running agents on remote servers; teams wanting shared repos and scheduled jobs; anyone comparing multiple models on the same prompt in parallel.
Not ideal: users who prefer staying fully in the terminal; organizations needing enterprise SSO beyond OAuth; teams wanting managed infrastructure.
My take
The mobile PWA with push notifications changes the workflow most concretely: start a long agent task, go do something else, get notified when it needs input. Multi-run turns sequential model comparison into a parallel one. Schedules make recurring agent tasks first-class. MIT, well-documented, actively maintained.
